Simple summer fresh vegetable recipe

  • Daikon
  • Pumpkin
  • Lotus Roots
  • Curly English Parsley
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
  • Umeboshi Vinegar


  • Cut pieces of daikon, pumpkin and lotus root and curly English parsley.
  • Prepare a steamer.
  • Put in the daikon pumpkin and lotus root.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and close the lid for 5 minutes, until cooked but firm.
  • Remove and steam the parsley for 2 minutes.
  • Remove straight away and mix.
  • Sprinkle with lemon juice or umeboshi vinegar.
