This is the 2019 Report from the National Biodiversity Network (NBN) that was reported on the international news a month ago.
The report is freely available online and is brilliantly presented with graphs, photos and illustrations alongside the latest research into the current state of our natural world. 

It could be said that much of this quality of awareness is basic to macrobiotic understanding and purpose. I urge everyone to read this deeply researched and understated warning. Michio & Aveline Kuchi come into my mind/heart.
