Our AGM in January went well – with all our Directors and some Professional members present. We covered important agenda points, elected officers and received some new and very much needed offers of help. After, we celebrated with delicious food contributions brought by everyone – what was planned as nibbles turned out to be quite a feast!

Simon Brown, who has been our Chairperson the last few years, but who has now moved to Lisbon, stood down, and Marion Price was voted in as new Chair. We have been very fortunate to have benefited from Simon’s long-time teaching experience, gentle wisdom, and the warmth and hospitality with which he hosted so many of our Director’s meetings – we will miss him! As new Chair, Marion is bringing her many years of experience of macrobiotic teaching and practice to support the important work of the Association. She plans to help to bring clarity to our aims and how we communicate and to support the amazing and valued work of our Professional Members. She says “We will be using our resources in the best possible way for health and planetary wellbeing – engaging in more outreach and raising our profile”
