We’re excited to share with you our first-ever series of cooking classes focusing solely on desserts. In this 6-part series, we will be exploring different combinations of ingredients and flavours, and learn the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of these deceivingly simple yet delectable desserts. Once you get to know these basics, you will be able to create infinite combinations and whip up delicious fuss-free (and sugar-free) desserts. You will learn multiple recipes (at least 2) in each session that focuses on a particular theme or flavour. Across the series, we will use a wide variety of sugar alternatives such as: oat syrup, dates, barley malt and fermented amazake, as well as familiar favourites like maple syrup. All of the recipes are designed to be plant-based, but you may choose to use non-vegan products such as honey or dairy if you wish. Please note that you will receive a shopping list in preparation for each class ahead of time. You will also receive a recipe booklet of everything you will cook. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (e.g. Vegan or Gluten-Free), please let us know upon booking. We can adapt all of our dishes to accommodate your requirements.

Class Themes

In this series, we will be creating primarily ‘no-bake’ desserts that can be customised for any situation. You can simplify the recipe if you have only the bare essentials, or bring a lot of creativity with various other elements.

  • Class Two: Apple and Cinnamon
  • Class Three: Citrus and Orange
  • Class Four: Discovering Amazake
  • Class Five: Fruit Jellies, Berries and Chestnuts
  • Class Six: The Mighty Millet
