Monday Night Cooking – Japanese Kyoto Noodles

 “Monday Night Cooking” class is a series of classes, taking place on Monday evenings, 7 – 9pm at Concord Institute in Finsbury Park, London. Numbers are limited to ensure full attention for all students.

The cost is £65 for a single drop-in session.


A family favourite in Japan. A rich umami broth, with udon noodles, sweet marinated tempeh, toasted sesame kinpira carrots and greens. This dish is composed of several parts, so can be as quick and simple or as rich and complex as you have time to give it. It’s a perfect sharing dish for a family table, a veritable feast for the eyes. The key to the dish lies in the rich broth and tempeh marinade. Mastering this dish will give you versatility with some of the major building blocks of Japanese cuisine.

All our Monday Night Cooking classes are relaxed and fun, held at our culinary kitchen near Finsbury Park, a stone’s throw from Seven Sisters Road. We want people to get into the kitchen, learn a few tips & techniques, and experience the magic of wholefoods cooking at home. At Concord Culinary School we believe we are what we eat, and good culinary skills can make a difference in our well-being and lives.
