Dandelion Flower Tea

Have a cup of golden sunshine! This is such a lovely simple tea to have in springtime. Made from the gorgeous yellow flowers of the common dandelion, this tea is very mild and soothing. All parts of the common dandelion are edible and have good health benefits, and are especially good for detoxifying the liver. It is high in anti-oxidants and helps to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar levels, as well as aiding digestion and supporting the immune system. Dandelion is a strong diuretic so caution should be taken for those with kidney illness, but the flowers are the mildest part of the plant. Pick fresh dandelion flowers away from roads or places that may have been sprayed with chemicals. Make sure there are no insects hiding in them
