This is a home study course taught by Oliver Cowmeadow and Sharlene Belusevic over 8 modules that covers all of the very basics of macrobiotics including theory, supportive guidance and cooking classes.
The Holistic Nutrition & Cooking Year course is a powerful way of transforming your health and life, helping you move forward to actively create the life you want. We study life on a physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual level, and use a wide range of activities including Do-in exercises and bodywork, classes in macrobiotic philosophy, medicine and health assessment, lots of practical work learning good listening and emotional supportive skills, and 20 cooking classes.
Join expert macrobiotic chef Lara Holmes to learn the art of vegan and refined sugar free Christmas baking. During this 2.5 hour class you will learn how to make a selection of baked goodies including mince pies with cashew butter, cinnamon shaped biscuits, spiced fruit cake and marzipan decorations.
The Foundation Year Course provides a thorough basic training in macrobiotics including Oriental philosophy and medicine, Do-in exercise, lots of cooking classes, emotional healing and personal development. You can expect to learn things on this course for your own and others benefit and use this knowledge in its own right or as a basis for our Second & Third Year courses and a potential new career.
