BODY SCRUB

BODY SCRUB

Fill the bathroom sink with water that is as hot as your skin can tolerate.

Take a cotton face cloth or a piece of rough towel. Dip it into the water and squeeze out water, then firmly scrub the whole body, from the ankles upward, or from the face down.

Rub the skin firmly until it is pink. Rinse in the hot water, squeeze out – continue this way until you are finished. Go fairly fast and be aware of your breath as you do this. It’s always helpful to breath in as you prepare – out as you exert pressure, or stretch out until it becomes natural.

This body scrub takes approximately 15 minutes. What does it do? = energize the whole circulatory system, nervous system and respiratory system. The skin is one of humans main breathing organs beside the lungs. This clears the pores and removes unseen buildup of toxins giving our system more clarity and freedom and less stress.

As we only need a bowl of water this can be done almost anywhere, including with very cold fresh stream water. Can do this every morning, or even just once a week is brilliant. A few days build up is indeed protective.
