In the gift of our seasons, this is Winter and the precious time to care for our kidneys and bladder so they remain strong to support us through the other seasons. The weather, short days and long nights give us time to do this. It has a purpose: for us to keep warm, stock up, work diligently and take time to be grateful for all that we have.

NOURISH OUR WISDOM

We nourish our wisdom and self-responsibility simply by being-with this restful, quiet season. Dress very warmly and walk 20 minutes daily.

WALK HOME FROM WORK 

Walk home from work or the station, go straight past seductive, lazy-making snack shops, takeaway bread shops; save the money for vegetables, perhaps a tin of organic beans and arrive home with the time and enthusiasm/love to cook for self and family.

Walk home from work or the station, go straight past seductive, lazy-making snack shops, takeaway bread shops; save the money for vegetables, perhaps a tin of organic beans and arrive home with the time and enthusiasm/love to cook for self and family.

COOK A WARMING STEW

Cook a warming stew (20 mins) on top of the stove or in the oven, with a grain, noodles or sourdough bread followed by cooked apples with maple syrup for example, and a cuppa.

SIT ROUND THE TABLE

Sit together round the table, TV off, ipads and phones down: eat, talk, digest. This way is the basis of health. No electronic waves invading our unique, subtle, healthy body and mind. This way we prepare ourselves for the year ahead, creating the care and strength we need, ourselves!
