RE-MEMBER THE QUALITY OF QUIET

And the possibility to go within ourselves, that we have this spring. Each person is different, this may be difficult or easy, it may be developing. What is certain is that it is precious. Take time this May, June and July, to consider what an auspicious time it is for great change; for ourselves, for the climate of what could be a sustainable planet.

A NATURAL SURGE OF VITALITY COMES THROUGH THE SUMMER

The Summer months: the Sun higher, days longer, imagination stronger. We need to maintain our physical, mental and spiritual strength rather than squander it. Cook with organic vegetables, some salad, tofu, tempeh, beans, seaweeds, fruit, pickles and saurkraut, olives, soft grain. Sparkling water but not fizzy drinks, and warm herb teas keep our guts best. To keep strong and content in all our systems, circulation, nervous, immune etc, it is very helpful to be thankful for all situations however hard.

MUSIC, SINGING, WALKING, YOGA, LAUGHING, WRITING, VOLUNTEERING

We can each make a list of how can we change our life a little to help the planet: cut down on plastic, use less heating, fly less, holiday in our own country, alter the clothes we have, learn to sew, use public transport. Learn to grow vegetables, plant trees, value every drop of water, think about it. Brilliant in these months a skin scrubs every other day. Find in the blog section on the website.

WHEN WE LOOSE A LOVED ONE

And we know they are in a place of light and love it can be very helpful to prepare a little area on a shelf at home, out of reach of children. Put a photo of them, 3 tiny bowls, one with water, one with salt, one with the grain. A flower or blossom. A small candle in a glass jar (and blow it out when you leave.) Refresh the water every few days. Here we can focus, pray, give thanks, smile, cry, sing, always with love, joy, forgiveness, and after 40 days we respectfully dismantle it. Take a shower, clean the area, open the windows and allow a sense of freedom to circulate.
